MKPhi & the Que'z Keep it Clean!
Since 1988, Alabama PALS (People Against A Littered State) has partnered with the Alabama Department of Transportation to coordinate and implement the Alabama Adopt-a-Mile Program, which to date has approximately 860 miles of state, U.S. and county highways that are adopted and maintained by volunteer groups statewide. This is how nonprofits, fraternal organizations, government agencies and volunteers can work together to create and maintain programs that not only keep our roads and highways clean and litter free, but enhance the beauty of Alabama, while having a positive economic impact for our great state.
The Brothers of Mu Kappa Phi, Music Org. - Mobile, AL Stanza are proud to stand with the Brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. - Rho Alpha Chapter, in efforts of making our city a better place. This is only the beginning of this meaningful collaboration.
YOUTH HAPPY HOUR!
"Success 4 the Future" is extremely thankful for The Exchange & Young Professionals of Mobile. Together we were able to host the Inaugural "Youth Happy Hour". Our program participants were provided with the necessary tools to be successful in the workforce and were able to network with prominent business leaders of our city. This type of exposure is imperative to ensure that all citizens, regardless of their background are able to become contributing members of society, while taking the necessary steps to improve the quality of life for all people. #SolutionsONLY #TheExchange #YoungProfessionalsMobile #S4TF
WHAT ABOUT MOMENTUM?
No Involvement? No Complaints!
Regardless of what progress is made in a city, if the future leaders aren't prepared to preserve the positive changes being implemented - it will serve no purpose. "Success 4 the Future" is in the solution business. We expose our young people with opportunities to meet with dignitaries and those who represent them in public office. These are the necessary steps to improve the quality of life for all people. #MeetingWithTheMayor #iHeal #MKPhi #S4TF
"CLOGGING THE PIPELINE INITIATIVE"
Using Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Arts, & Discipline (LEAD) to eliminate youth violence and criminal activity!
Just ME - Motivational Empowerment
2nd Graders on the Move!
"S4TF" Executive Director Reggie Hill, M.Ed. was happy to read inserts from his book Just ME to the youth in Mobile County. Did you know that prison beds are besed on 3rd Grade reading scores? Through the "Clogging the Pipeline Initiative" - sponsored by the Mobile County Commission, young people are able to compete for a $250 cash prize. The 6 winners are based on the best plans to dilute the school to prison pipeline. Age groups vary. Please contact us for more information or if you would like to participate. #LiteracyMatters #Peace
Bridge The Gap!
Worthwhile Collaborations Make Very Healthy Relations!
Young people all across the country have found themselves at odds with or extremely uncomfortable around law enforcement officials. Through partnerships with the Strategic Initiatives Division of MPD, our program participants are laying the foundation to improve relationships between youth and police. Have a conversation with your local officer. It will make a difference! #SpeakingWithTheChief #iHeal #MKPhi #S4TF
Civic Engagement, Now & Forever
Only through worthwhile legislation will we develop & maintain a worthwhile population!
As a nonprofit organization, "Success 4 the Future" can't endorse any particular political candidate, but we will always expose our program participants to the government arena, allowing them to make the best decisions for themselves and the future of society. The Mu Kappa Phi Immediate Past Vice Maestro, in charge of Community Outreach, was able to share a moment with "S4TF" Founder/Executive Director Reggie Hill and U.S. Senator Doug Jones (AL). The Honorable Congressman John Lewis (GA-5) was the keynote speaker at the rally held in the Clark Family Life Center of Prichard, AL.
CALLOWAY-SMITH SGA GETS INVOLVED!
Nearly 2 Decades Later: New Faces, Same Mission!
In the spring of 2000, our Executive Director - Reggie Hill, was elected to serve as the 3rd overall and 1st male SGA President at Calloway-Smith Middle School. CSMS, since its inception, has been known for great student leaders. And, after all these years - it's no different!
Recently, Director Hill had the privilege of sharing an educational moment about being engaged, with the current CSMS SGA at a regular Mobile City Council meeting. He is seated in between the current President, and to his left the Vice President! #CSMS #SGA #S4TF
Project L.I.F.T. (Life Is For Thinkers) offers individuals and small groups the mentoring expertise needed to reach the next level of life: emotionally; academically; and socially. Here are students from Mobile County Training (Middle) School who participate in weekly sessions. Contact us, today, for more information. #MentoringMatters
NO VOTE! NO VOICE!
"Success 4 the Future" hosted it's inaugural Youth Empowerment Rally - "Drippin' In Success" at the Seals Recreation Center on Texas Street, near downtown. We were pleased to partner with the Secretary of State's Office - for our voter registration effort. Mr. Edward came down, all the way from Montgomery, to print off FREE Voter ID's on the spot. Here, he is pictured with some of our newly registered voters! Special thanks to Mr. James Fields; Mr. Robert Kennedy, Jr.; and Rep. Adline Clarke for sharing words of wisdom with our young people!
